Seven directors. Seven tales of terror. Zero working cell phones. Welcome to Scare Package. This raucous horror-comedy pits a multitude of Florida Film Festival alumni including Emily Hagins (“First Kiss,” FFF 2019), Chris McInory (“Death Metal,” FFF 2017; “We Summoned a Demon,” FFF 2018), Anthony Cousins (“The Bloody Ballad of Squirt Reynolds,” FFF 2019); along with creator Aaron Koontz (Camera Obscura, FFF 2017); newcomers the Andujar sisters; as well as actors-turned-directors Baron Vaughn (Grace & Frankie) and Noah Segan (Knives Out) to deliver a blood-soaked camp-fest worthy of cult status for years to come. Each segment is built around a horror movie “trope.” From the final girl and cars that won’t start, to campouts in the woods, no plot point is left unskewed, and no inside joke is too obscure to hammer home. You won’t be able to keep up as the wit explodes like zombie brains being blown apart from a shotgun to the head. Sit back, relax, grab a beer … hell, grab a dozen, and get ready. It’s gonna be a blast!
