Six residents of a typical retirement condo-community in the vicinity of West Palm Beach extol the virtues and the challenges of living in their geriatric paradise. Poignant, funny, and dark, KING’S POINT drills in on the real complexities these seniors face sustaining independence and humanity in the last chapter of their American Dream.
Director Bio:
Sari Gilman (“Kings Point”) has been a documentary film editor for 15 years. She received a Primetime Emmy® nomination for her work on Ghosts of Abu Ghraib, which aired on HBO and was directed by Rory Kennedy. Her work has been screened at festivals world-wide, aired on HBO, PBS, OWN, and other broadcast outlets. This is her first film as a director.
