First time animator, 10-year-old artist Perry Chen collaborates with animation master Bill Plympton to recount the first-hand story of Ingrid Pitt’s extraordinary act of courage as a Jewish child held in a World War II concentration camp. Narrated by Ingrid Pitt herself.
Director Bio:
Kevin Sean Michaels (“Ingrid Pitt: Beyond The Forest”) was born and raised in New York City. He started making films at age 13 with a Super-8 home movie camera in the style of silent movies. Michaels was the Art Director for Troma Entertainment for three and a half years, working closely with filmmaker Lloyd Kaufman on Troma’s film Poultrygeist! Night of the Chicken Dead as well as numerous DVD extras.
