USA, 2011, 19 MIN
EAST COAST PREMIERE/2ND US SCREENING

Shot in Titusville, this loving paean to America’s fading space program examines NASA’s immeasurable cultural impact through the lens of a young science teacher (Jason Ritter, TV’s Parenthood) and a photographer (Kate French, TV’s The L Word) who meet at the final space shuttle launch.

Director Bio:
Matthew Ornstein (“Atlantis”) was born and raised in Los Angeles and attended Bard College, where he was the recipient of a student Emmy®. He has wanted to make a space-themed film since seeing 2001 at the age of 12 and adapted “Atlantis” from his feature script of the same name.
