Florida Shorts - Best of Brouhaha
Total Running Time: 89 MIN
Sponsored by Governor's Office of Film & Entertainment and Film Florida
Selected by an industry jury in December as the cream of the crop of the 19th annual Brouhaha Film & Video Showcase (made up in part of a year’s worth of monthly FilmSlam winners, two of which are represented here), this formidable collection of Florida student films and indie productions represents some of the finest, most entertaining work to come out of Florida State University, the University of Central Florida, Full Sail University, Ringling College of Art and Design, and the local film scene. Another Brouhaha standout, Xander Robin’s “Kodachrome 2010,” would have been part of this program but was instead selected to compete in the Documentary section and can be found preceding both screenings of Chekhov for Children.
