Drones

There are two things you have thought before: a) there’s something deeply weird and wrong with the people that I work with, and b) if I don’t get with that person, the world will end. What if they both turned out to be absolutely true? Brian (Jonathan M. Woodward, TV’s Angel) is a comfortable office drone at the happy hive of the OmniLink Corporation until his best friend Clark (Samm Levine, Inglorious Basterds, TV’s Freaks and Geeks) goads him into asking out a co-worker Amy (Angela Bettis, May, FFF 2002). As their relationship progresses, Brian starts finding out secrets about his colleagues—and his would-be girlfriend—that at worst could destroy the world and at least could make you think twice about fraternizing with co-workers. Directed by Amber Benson and Adam Busch (both of TV’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer) DRONES is Office Space in Wonderland, a brilliant swipe at cubicle life, the comic complexities of love, and a confirmation that your co-workers are, well, not of this world.
