A police officer and a young father are among men from all over the country, including a central Florida surfer, sent to prison, and even Death Row, for decades for crimes they did not commit. As they transition back into society, they receive no retribution, no apologies, no government support (not even the simple rights normally granted guilty parolees), and not even a clean record. Freed with the assistance of the Innocence Project, the men, though emotionally shattered, turn for support to their families, their communities, and each other through the Life After Exoneration program.
