Based on Arthur Schnitzler’s classic play La Ronde, SEXUAL LIFE moves gracefully from encounter to encounter, connecting its stories with logic and irony. By constantly underlining the power of sex, the film manages to leave us with sympathy and compassion for those who simply cannot resist its force. The exceptional ensemble cast includes Anne Heche, Elizabeth Banks, Kerry Washington, Tom Everett Scott, and James LeGros, directed with care and intelligence by Ken Kwapis (Malcolm in the Middle), who ensures that this carnal comedy of manners never misses a beat.
