From Jeremy Coon, producer/editor of cult favorites Napoleon Dynamite and The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang (FFF 2006), comes another quirky comedy about the trials of life and the friendships in between. Overweight dreamer Tracy Orbison (screenwriter Hubbel Palmer) spends most of his time working at a local grocery store in small town Utah. When he's not scribbling poetry, he passes his day in pursuit of a driver's license and figuring out his mission in life. Inspiration strikes when he attends a local play starring the arrogant Z-lister, Truman Hope (a hilarious William Baldwin): why not try acting? At the same time, he takes a new kid (Vincent Caso) at the supermarket under his wing, and the boy returns the favor by introducing Tracy to his group of delinquent friends who can also benefit from his guidance. Finally, things seem to be going his way; however, a series of mishaps show Tracy who his true friends are. Co-starring Oscar-nominee Kathleen Quinlan (Apollo 13), Mary Lynn Rajskub (24), and Bruce McGill (Animal House), this feature directorial debut from Chris Bowman is an incredibly funny portrait of one (very large) man's quest to be somebody.
