FFF 2004 Announces Award Winners
The 13th edition of the Florida Film Festival proved to be luck indeed. Great weather, great films, great company. We moved in even closer, forged ahead with the second edition of NextArt, and thanks to Josh, ate much better! The annual awards Gala, held in downtown Orlando for the first time, made it all worthwhile, when the dozen competition awards were presented. In addition, the Florida Film Forward Award was presented to Patty Jenkins, director of MONSTER, for her use of local cast and crew during the production of the film and her faith in the tremendous skill and professionalism of Florida’s production community. It is an honor and a privilege for us at the Festival to reward filmmakers for their outstanding hard work. It is their work that provides our core mission…Enzian and the Florida Film Festival exist to entertain, inspire, educate, and connect the community through film. As this year winds down today, we look forward to rest, recuperation and plans for the 14th Annual Florida Film Festival. We hope that you will make the Festival a tradition and join us for all the wonderful years to come. Thank you for your support!
