Bring a pillow of your own and join us under the stars in Central Park to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this sexy, quirky, comedy classic. Doris Day stars as single interior decorator Jan Morrow, who is forced to share a party line telephone with playboy musician Brad Allen, played charmingly by Rock Hudson. Jan can't stand sharing her phone with a womanizer who makes endless calls to endless women, and Brad sees the voice at the other end of his line as a nuisance with "bedroom problems"--until he lays eyes on her in a nightclub. Although she's the object of his best friend Jonathan's (Tony Randall) affections, Brad can't resist winning her attention by pretending to be the polite and unassuming Texas rancher, Rex Stetson, and struggles to hide his true identity from Jan and his fake one from Jonathan. Fun, frisky, and ahead of its time with a single and successful female character, PILLOW TALK is an enduring and enchanting romp for the whole family that won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay and received a total of five Academy Award nominations, including Best Actress, Supporting Actress, and Art Direction.
